Replacing missing teeth isn't only about appearance. Gaps make chewing harder, can change how you speak, and let nearby teeth drift out of place over time. The good news: there's a comfortable, natural-looking option for almost everyone — whether you're missing one tooth or all of them — and we'll help you choose the one that fits your mouth and your budget.

Ways to replace missing teeth

There's no single "best" answer — the right choice depends on how many teeth are missing, the health of the teeth around them, and what matters most to you. Here are the main options:

Fixed · stays in

Dental bridge

Fills a small gap by anchoring a replacement tooth to the healthy teeth (or implants) on either side. It stays in your mouth — you don't take it out.

Removable · some teeth

Partial denture

Replaces several missing teeth while clipping around the natural teeth you still have. Removable for easy cleaning.

Removable · full arch

Full denture

Replaces all the teeth on the top, the bottom, or both. A familiar, time-tested way to restore a full smile.

Most stable

Implant-supported denture

Snaps onto a few dental implants so it stays put while you eat and talk — no slipping, no messy adhesives. Learn about implants →

How a bridge works

A bridge literally "bridges" the gap left by a missing tooth. The two healthy teeth beside the gap are capped with crowns, and a replacement tooth is joined between them as one solid piece.

The two outer teeth support a replacement tooth in the middle — joined as one fixed piece.

Dentures that fit your life

Modern dentures are lighter and more natural-looking than the ones you may remember from years ago. And if a traditional denture has ever slipped on you, implant-supported dentures are a game-changer — they lock onto a few implants so they stay put.

Looks natural

Shaped and shaded to suit your face and smile.

Eat what you love

Especially with implant support, chewing becomes much easier.

Easy to care for

Removable options are simple to clean and maintain.

No more slipping

Implant-supported dentures stay secure — no adhesives needed.

No more goopy impressions

We scan your mouth digitally

Instead of the old putty-filled trays that made many people gag, we use a digital iTero scanner for many cases. A small wand takes a quick, comfortable 3D picture of your teeth and gums — which also helps your final bridge or denture fit more accurately.

Common questions

What types of dentures do you offer?
We offer full and partial dentures, plus implant-supported options that attach to dental implants for a more secure fit and better chewing.
Will dentures change how I eat and speak?
There's a short adjustment period, but most patients adapt within a few weeks. Implant-supported dentures feel more stable than traditional ones, which makes eating and speaking easier.
What's the difference between a bridge and a denture?
A bridge is fixed in place and fills a small gap using the neighboring teeth (or implants) for support. A denture is removable and replaces several teeth or a full arch. We'll help you choose the right option for your situation.
Does insurance cover dentures?
Many PPO plans cover a portion of dentures or bridges. We provide a written estimate before treatment and walk through options so you can choose what fits your needs.
Do you use messy impression trays?
For many cases we use a digital iTero scanner instead of the old putty-filled trays. It's faster, more comfortable, and very accurate, which helps your final appliance fit well.
